This is a page of screenshots/slideshows
Created by cybormoron of the all things linux forum I would like to thank cybormoron for taking the time to make these interesting slideshows and allowing me to put them on my web site. Here is a quote from cybormoron on how he got started doing screenshots/slideshows. "it was an instruction pictorial that got me started on linux. it was from a linux format magazine cover disc and pictures about mandriva 2005le. without those screenshots i'd probably still be burning iso coasters, lol."

Here is a virtual box tutorial and slideshow with an explanation from cybormoron.
"i sure do like this virtualbox (VB) program. i guess it's called an emulator.
i'm really fascinated with running multiple operating systems and since discovering this outstanding program i've been in emulation heaven.
as you can see from these screenshots i have quite a few os's installed.
i'm running VB on mandriva linux 2007.1 which makes this my host os.
each of the other distros are called guests and run in a "virtual machine". VB runs on the 3 major platforms windows, mac, linux.
i only know it on linux so i don't know how well it functions on the other platforms but the reviews are good.
a big feature not yet supported is 3d acceleration because VB is limited to a generic graphics driver.
other than that all of the distros shown in my screenshots are fully functioning. it isn't hard to get started.
there are only a few decisions to make when creating a virtual machine and each option is explained very well in the user documentation.
these slideshows show how i set up my virtual machines and also how i learn to install and use some of the distros.
it is in my opinion the best way to explore a different environment or to have access to something that is only available on another os."
